What are the documents required for ACS Skill Assessment?

Personal documents
Every applicant is required to provide personal identification documents. Mandatory documents are not optional and must be provided.
Mandatory Documents (3-Forms of ID)
- Clear Original colour scan of your passport (only the identification page with your picture)
- Clear Original colour scan of a valid Government issued ID which bears a photo
- Clear Original colour scan of a VEVO issued document or ImmiCard (or birth certificate)
- Resume / Curriculum Vitae
Other Documentation Requirements (if applicable)
- Clear Original colour scan evidence of name change/marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Evidence of a priority request application i.e. visa expiring letter (if applicable)
- Migration agent authorisation form (if applicable and appointing an agent to an existing application)

Can I submit additional documents after I’ve lodged my application?
You can submit additional documents through the ACS application portal only when it’s requested by ACS during the assessment process. You can’t voluntarily submit additional documents once your application is submitted.
What should I do if my employer refuses to provide a reference letter?
If you’re unable to obtain an Employment Reference from an employer or are self-employed, you will need to submit a Statutory Declaration/Affidavit with description of duties performed to demonstrate Evidence of Work Experience. Does ACS request additional information or directly reject the application?
ACS sometimes requests additional documentation to verify an application but is not obligated to request further documents. In some cases, ACS may reject the application as ‘Not Suitable’ without seeking any additional documentation.
Does ACS require an English language test for skills assessment?
No, ACS doesn’t require any English language tests for skills assessment.
What’s the fees for ACS skill assessment?
ACS has different fees for different skill assessment pathways.The fees for Temporary Graduate 485 pathway is $600, it’s$1,100 for Post Australian Study pathway, $1,450 for General Skills assessment pathway and $1,450 for Recognition of Prior Learning. How long is ACS’s skill assessment processing time?
The Australian Computer Society (ACS) normally processes skill assessments within 8 to 10 weeks from the date of application. However, this timeframe can vary depending on the complexity of the application and the volume of applications received. Ensure to apply well in advance and ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate to avoid any delays.
